The LIFT is a registered trademarkLeadership Series challenges and stretches participants to become the most effective leaders they can be.

  • Interactive group workshops are combined with individual assignments to ensure workplace application.
  • Concepts build on and reinforce one another, allowing for practice and performance improvement over time.

    Emotional Intelligence


    Have you ever worked for a leader who negatively impacted his/her team but was unaware this behavior adversely affected participation, morale and results? If so, then you know the importance of Emotional Intelligence.

    Recent research has shown that Emotional Intelligence is required to build successful relationships that are the hallmarks of highly effective leaders.

    We at Leadership Excelleration support individuals to enhance their Emotional Intelligence in a variety of ways, including:

    • Leadership Team 360 degree feedback process
    • Emotional Intelligence Leadership Development sessions
    • Facilitation and review of ECI Inventory (Emotional Competence Inventory)
    • Emotional Intelligence seminars and conferences

    The Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI), which Leadership Excelleration administers in partnership with the Hay Group, is an exceptional way for leaders to receive valuable feedback from peers, direct reports, their leader, and others. Coaching sessions with a Leadership Excelleration consultant allows them to develop in key areas with support and encouragement. A number of leaders have shared that the process provides more specific and helpful feedback than any other instrument they have encountered.


    Development Communities for Leaders


    In order to help sustain organizational momentum for all leadership development and to continue the growth process for individuals, we encourage the creation of Leadership Communities within organizations. These communities are customized to meet the specific needs of the organization. However, there are certain elements that are recommended to ensure success, including:

    • Sponsorship by the Executive Leadership Team
    • Peer-based, as appropriate depending on the size and culture of the organization
    • Formal quarterly sessions for the group(s)
    • Informal meetings of sub-groups between sessions
    • Consistent agenda themes, such as: best practices, leadership, skill application, personal growth and awareness, business issues and trends


    Leadership Community Charter

    Purpose: To accelerate the development of leadership competence among participants. The Community serves as a forum for Senior Management to enhance leadership effectiveness.

    Vision: To provide a quarterly forum that offers: continuous learning, new trends and developments in leadership, resolution of business issues, sharing with peers and accelerated development of core leadership competencies.

    Mission: Provide relevant leadership programs that enable participants to rapidly build competence and become more effective in leadership roles while building relationships and learning from peers.
